Campfire S'mores Cookies

The trick for the ultimate campfire flavor is liquid smoke. When you marinate that thing in the marshmallows, it literally tastes like it was roasted over a campfire!

I think I've been treating marshmallows like a bad boyfriend, so I’m gonna take this opportunity and say Smore’s cookies you’ve saved us! It only takes 4 ingredients too.

You’re gonna need a good chocolate chip dough with tons of chocolate to offset the sweet marshmallows (I’ve got you covered with our Choco Chunker Cookie Kit if you need an easy one), but the trick for the ultimate campfire flavor is liquid smoke.

When you marinate that thing in the marshmallows, it literally tastes like it was roasted over a campfire. S'mores without the hassle of the summer heat, mosquitos and trying to start a fire! hehe!

Happy Baking

Ingredients

Makes 12 cookies

For the Cookies
1- Chocolypse! Salted Choco-Cyclone Cookie Mix (V)
3 TABLESPOONS- Filtered Water
1/2 CUP- Mini Marshmallows tossed with 1/8 TEASPOON of Liquid Smoke
12 Graham Crackers & more crumbled for topping

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350° F. Take out the two pouches from the Chocolypse! cookie mix packaging and find the one labeled #1 (Almond butter mix). Spoon out contents of pouch into a medium size mixing bowl.
  2. Add 3 tablespoons of filtered water and whisk until slightly thickened. About 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in Pouch #2 (flour mix) with a flexible spatula or mixing spoon until it is almost combined, but there are still a few white streaks of flour visible. Add in the prepared marshmallows and finish mixing until there are no white flour streaks visible. I know it's fun, but try not to over mix! :)
  4. On a lined baking sheet, place 12 graham crackers on it about 1 inch apart. You may need to use two baking sheets.
  5. Roll dough into 12 balls, and place one on each graham cracker. Flatten slightly and sprinkle with crumbled graham crackers.
  6. Bake for 13-14 minutes or until edges have slightly hardened, but center is soft. For crispier cookies bake for 14-16 minutes.
  7. Cool completely on baking sheets before digging in. Enjoy!
